| 内容記述 | 目的：一般病院における病棟看護師の終末期がん患者の在宅療養移行に向けた支援への思いを明らかにした．方法：一般病院の病棟で働く看護師で，終末期がん患者の在宅療養の移行に向けた看護経験が７年以上の看護師を対象に半構成的面接を行い，面接内容の逐語録を作成し，質的帰納的に分析した．結果および考察：研究対象は全員女性で，年齢は30歳代から50歳代に分布し，その看護経験が７年から31年であった．分析の結果，終末期がん患者の在宅療移行に向けた支援で抱く思いとして【終末期がん患者は耐え難い苦しさを抱えている】，【終末期がん患者の療養ニーズに応える】，【病棟看護師は在宅療養を実現する難しさを感じている】，【終末期がん患者の在宅療養を後押しする退院支援をする】の４つのカテゴリーが抽出された．一般病院の病棟で働く看護師は，終末期がん患者の抱える苦しみを理解し，在宅療養に移行する難しさに向き合いながら退院支援をしていた． | |||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Purpose: To uncover and identify feelings and thoughts of ward nurses in supporting end-stage cancer patients who were in the transitional period from hospital to home. Method: Semi-structured interviews were conducted with hospital ward nurses who had more than 7 years of experience in supporting end-stage cancer patients during the period of their transition from hospital to home care. Verbatim transcription of all interviews was prepared and analyzed inductively and qualitatively. Results and discussion: The interviewees were all female, aged between 30's to 50's, with nursing experience from 7 to 31 years. From the analysis, four different types of thoughts of the ward nurses were identified in supporting end-stage cancer patients who were in preparation for their transition to home: (1) the nurses think end-stage cancer patients suffer unbearable anguish, (2) they want to meet the care needs of these patients, (3) they feel the difficulty of putting home care in practice, and (4) they encourage and support these patients in preparation for home care and the process of hospital discharge. Our findings showed that ward nurses understood the suffering of end-stage cancer patients and faced difficulty in realizing home care while supporting these patients in the process of hospital discharge. | |||||||||||||||||
